Story Coaching for professionals
Stories are the most powerful tool to connect with an audience.
They make us feel something, rather than think. Stories spark our imagination, take us out of the room, onto a journey with the speaker.
Stories connect us, because they are universal. Storytelling is the the oldest form of art the world knows.
Through your words, your voice, your mimics, your gestures, you can create worlds that your audience can enter. And this way, you can make them experience exactly what you want them to feel.
I believe stories can truly move an audience.
Whether you're stepping onto a stage for the first time or preparing a big presentation: in our sessions, we work together to find the story at the heart of your message.
We discover the story that is fitting for this specific speaking moment, unfold it, craft is and finally work on your delivery.
My background is in professional theatre, so I've worked on many productions, and that knowledge is at the heart of everything I do. I've coached journalists in exile sharing their personal stories for Correctiv, scientists speaking at Berlin Science Week, and storytellers performing at The Bear. Whatever the stage, the work is the same: helping you find the core of your story and deliver it with confidence.
Sessions are 1-on-1, online or in Berlin. 60 or 90 minutes.
For Individuals
Me listening to one of the scientists rehearse one last time, before they take the stage during Berlin Science Week. I believe my eyes show how impressed I was.
Storytelling is a skill. It’s something everyone can learn.
I offer in-company workshops on storytelling for presentations: how to open a talk compellingly, how to use personal story to make a message stick, and how to connect with an audience beyond bullet points and data. I customize these workshops so they fit the actual context you are dealing with in your organization.
For in-company story workshops and events, I collaborate with the team of the Bear, Berlin’s most known storytelling stage.
